The Art of Living Foundation, through its many innovative programs, brings values of love and service to our society by strengthening the individual. The organization does this by offering programs that eliminate stress, create a sense of belonging, restore human values and encourage people from all religions and cultural traditions to come together. In less than a week, the simple, yet profound Art of Living Part I Course (which uses yoga, meditation and breathing techniques) allows participants to experience the beauty that is life! The course’s jewel is the Sudarshan Kriya breathing practice which brings calmness to the mind and energy to the body. The Art of Living Foundation was established in 1981 by His Holiness Sri Sri Ravi Shankar. Today it is the world’s largest volunteer-run NGO and is active in more than 150 countries.
